PodNetSec is demoed on June 17th, 2010 at ACM MobiSys'10, San Francisco, CA, USA.

The CSG team will have a booth presenting PodNet to the public during the Researchers' Night, September 25th, 2009 (sponsored by Nokia Nokia NRC Lausanne).

PodNet Reporters will cover the ExtremeCom'09 workshop in Lappland, Sweden in August, 2009.

PodNet is running on ANA and will be released soon.

PodNet was demoed in June 18th, 2008 at ACM MobiSys'08, Breckenridge, Colorado, USA.
Our ACM MobiCom'07 demo was qualified for the finals of the student demo competition.

The PodNet application allows you to share podcasts and any files on the move. The distribution works through opportunistic wireless transfers between users over IEEE 802.11. The content distribution is ad hoc, and hence free of any download charges like with GPRS, HSPA, or UMTS. To use PodNet, install the appropriate software on your mobile phone or handheld. As soon as you will encounter people that have content you want to have, the application will automatically download it for you.
